Grad (‘09) reports on counter-terrorism from the Gulf of Aden

Allison Cross, who graduated from the UBC Graduate School of Journalism in 2009, is currently on board the HMCS Fredericton in the Gulf of Aden.
Allison works for Canwest News Service in Ottawa.
She was sent to the Fredericton to report on the Canadian Navy’s counter-terrorism mission in the region.
The region, which includes countries like Yemen and Somalia, has been patrolled by different international navies since 2001.
